Pixel Light have recently welcomed in a new initiative from Facebook that will be rolled out in the coming weeks. The updates to Facebook’s Ad Manager gives Pixel Light more time on their hands by making it easier to track campaign performance. Due to these recent updates in Facebook Ads Manager, Pixel Light has already started restructuring their Facebook ad campaigns in anticipation for when Facebook implements the update.

Following Facebook’s implementation of the new design for Facebook tabs (now titled timeline apps) on March 30th, many brands were concerned as to how these changes would affect fan engagement.
The timeline changes have modified the appearance and function of the page, as well as the manner in which fans interact with tabs. However, according to research conducted by Simply Measured, Post-Timeline implementation the changes have been mostly positive and content engagement had generally increased.

- Bigger is in fact better. Be big and bold. Make your logo and entire banner ad resonate in peoples’ minds. Inspire them. Think about just how much information is available online, and what will not only make your banner ad stand out above the rest, but interest people enough to actually click on it. Larger banners tend to attract a higher CTR. Smaller (120 x 120) banners receive a huge 148.8% less clicks than large (360 x 240) banners.

Ad positioning refers to the placement of an ad on a search engine results page (SERP). Although Google concluded in 2009 that conversion rates don’t vary much by ad position, many researchers have found otherwise. Furthermore, we can see that many marketers believe in higher conversion rates in position one by the large investments they make to move their ads to the number one position for popular keywords.

Due to a huge increase in using graphics and multimedia on the website, many consumer websites now take up to 20% longer to download compared to what it did in the past.
Why does it matter? It would not be any matter if online commerce businesses could not lose roughly $4 billion a year just because visitors could not wait for the pages to download. If your website takes too long to download, you lose your customers. Therefore, the followings are the reasons why page-load time matters for your business and all the Internet users.

We all know different colours evoke various emotions and have numerous connotations; cool colours like green and blue can make us calm, while warm colours such as red, orange, and yellow excite us.
Put simply, colours can make us feel. In the e-commerce world – where there is endless choice and consumers often act based on instinct and impulse – considered application of colour can make a big difference to conversion rates.
